

Winston McCarthy

Winston is a specialist in Māori legal issues and investigations and has experience over a number of law areas.
He is currently Deputy Chairperson of the Social Workers Disciplinary Tribunal and Registrar of the Ministry Standards Commission of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
He was previously Counsel Assisting to the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care and Deputy Chairperson of the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal.
Winston is of Ngātiwai, Ngāi Te Rangi and Samoan descent, speaks conversational Māori and French and is completing a Masters of Public Health at the University of Auckland

Alice specialises in legal issues with a public law dimension.
She is currently the Lawyer Member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal, a Member of the Human Rights Review Tribunal and a Deputy Registrar of the Ministry Standards Commission of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa, New Zealand and Polynesia.
She was previously Counsel Assisting to the Royal Commission into Abuse in Care, focussing on disability and mental health settings.
Alice has an Msc in International Human Rights Law from the University of Oxford and speaks conversational Māori.
